BUDDY PAINE LOST THE FIGHT TO PANCREATIC CANCER ON AUGUST 22, 2008.  HE WAS THE MOST INFLUENTIAL FIGURE IN BASEBALL IN THE NORTHEAST AS WELL AS A GREAT FRIEND THAT WE WILL ALL MISS. HE HAS TOUCHED MORE LIVES THAN WE CAN COUNT. WHETHER IT IS BY THE PLAYERS HE COACHED, HIS FRIENDS, OR PEOPLE THAT CAME ACROSS HIM, BUDDY WILL SIMPLY BE REMEMBERED AS AN UNIQUE AND WONDERFUL INDIVIDUAL WHO WAS THE GREATEST TEACHER OF NOT JUST BASEBALL BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY LIFE. 

WE WANT TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO BE A PART OF YOUR LIFE.  WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU.
